Dan Charland is a founder and CEO of NetCenergy. He leads the sales effort for the company, assisting his clients to identify and implement the appropriate IT infrastructure to support their software applications and business goals.
Dan has an indisputable record of sales productivity based on his unrelenting desire to understand the needs of his clients. In conjunction with co-founder and NetCenergy President Don Nokes, the company has accepted many accolades. In 2006, NetCenergy received the inaugural Citizens Bank Peak Performance Award, recognizing a business that has exhibited extraordinary growth and demonstrated values consistent with the Citizens Credo of commitment to customers, colleagues, and community. NetCenergy spearheaded the Extreme Technology Makeover, an exciting promotion that provided one Chamber member with $15,000 in hardware and services. The program worked as a partnership between NetCenergy, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and the Providence Chamber of Commerce.
Dan began his technology career with EMC in 1990 after attending Boston University. Following his success at EMC, Dan joined Data General where he sharpened his consulting and technical skills. After successful engagements with Marketechs and CORE Business Technologies, Dan drove the sales volume that helped Compoint post record sales growth in IT during an especially challenging time in the industry.
Dan holds technical as well as sales certifications from Microsoft, Novell, Cisco, HP/Compaq, Veritas and other industry-leading vendors.
