Peter M. Nelson, CTO
Peter Nelson was recently named NetCenergy's Chief Technology Officer. He has held the role of technical service director since he co-founded the firm in 2003 with CEO Daniel Charland and President Donald Nokes. His contributions to NetCenergy continue to be integral to the company's success and its recent accolade of winner of the 2006 Citizens Bank Peak Performance Award.
Peter directs the team of NetCenergy professionals, supporting and monitoring their technical trainings and certifications. He also leads the charge to develop new technical solutions for our clients, most recently including remote and monitoring initiatives.
After returning to Rhode Island in 1996, Peter honed his skills in network engineering and hardware technologies as a Corporate Technician for CompUSA for two years and later in a leadership position at Compoint for five years where he played a significant role in the expansion of Compoint to a multi-million dollar organization. He holds several professional certifications from Microsoft, Altiris, Apple, and HP/Compaq as well as his A+ certification
Peter began his career in Boston at Wentworth Institute of Technology as an Assistant LAN/WAN Administrator while pursuing a degree in Electronic Engineering.
