The Cloud Defined
Cloud computing is basically a way of delivering hosted services via the Internet. Its name comes from the “cloud” image commonly used to represent multiple computers around the world being connected together (i.e. the World Wide Web). These services (or platforms) are hosted on a main server, thus enabling users to log in remotely and avoid installing software on their own computers. Company data and applications can be stored remotely, rather than on local devices, and are accessed through a Web browser.
Providing Clarity to The Cloud
For many companies, cloud computing raises some basic questions. How does it work? What does it mean? In the end, defining what the cloud is and isn’t provides little value. Time is better spent helping you understand how you can realize the business value of cloud computing. NetCenergy seeks to bring clarity out of complexity to clearly define what needs the cloud enables you to solve. At NetCenergy, we don’t look at cloud offerings as products, but rather as a means of providing you with another set of tools that can add value to your business.
At NetCenergy, we won’t sell you prepackaged cloud service bundles that require you to pay for things you don’t need. Instead, we will first take the time to assess your IT needs, understand what you are trying to accomplish, research a customized solution, and only then present to you our recommendations. We also take pride in vetting and partnering with only the most credible, stable, trusted, and cost-effective cloud partners. There are countless supposed cloud technologies out there, and it is our job to bring practical, cost-effective, and easily understandable solutions to the table.
